Dr Mukesh Batra, a renowned homoeopath is conferred with the ‘Indian of the Year’ award for his tireless contributions to medicine and healthcare. Particularly his contribution to the homoeopathy stream of medicine is reckoned across the globe.
Dr Batra is also a Padma Shri recipient and has received an array of awards and honours for his impeccable work in medicine and healthcare. The ‘Indian of the year 2014’ award was presented last week in Mumbai . Accepting the award, Dr Mukesh Batra, said, “The award recognises the importance of a sound mind in an able body. Among various systems of medicine that enable good health, homoeopathy is one of the fastest growing, as more and more people are turning to safer and holistic treatment options.
