Mahima in launch of Country Spa

The founder and chairman of Country Club of India Ltd (CCIL), India's leading leisure and infrastructure company, is planning to take the concept of wellness tourism pan India. He has grand plans for the same.

CCIL has earmarked Rs 100 crores to create a chain of Country Spas across India over the next two years. On September 14, Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhary inaugurated the Country Spa Coconut Groove, Bangalore along with Rajeev. The spa that is spread over twenty five scenic acres, has fifty rooms and offers traditional ayurvedic and naturopathy treatments.

Speaking at the launch of Country Spa, Rajeev stated, "The concept of Country Spas reflects the potential CCIL sees in the world of wellness tourism. Authentic ayurvedic therapy is gaining popularity. A large number of foreign nationals are visiting India for therapies. Yoga and ayurveda are India's gift to the world and with Country Spas, we aim to capitalise the same."

CCIL's spa foray began in 2009 with the launch of Country Spa, Kerala, India's first floating spa, that offers state-of-the art hydro-therapies. Spread over five acres of utopian environs, Country Spa, Kerala, also offers ancient ayurvedic treatments and diet plans that lead to complete body and mind rejuvenation. CCIL has tied up with the renowned Kairali Group for Country Spas. "The next two years will see six more Country Spas with an inventory of five hundred rooms coming up at Dubai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai," Rajeev said.
