The Punjab Government would set up five super speciality Ayurveda centres
5 SUPER SPECIALITY AYURVEDA CENTRES TO BE SET UP: The Punjab Government would set up five super speciality Ayurveda centres, besides recruiting 200 Ayurvedic doctors, in its endeavour to promote the Ayurvedic system of medication and treatment, said Punjab Health Minister Laxmi Kanta Chawla during the Global Ayurveda Meet - 2010 and Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminar on the role of Ayurveda in lifestyle disorders --- organised by the All-India Integrated Medical Association (AIIMA), in association with Punjab Ayurvedic Medical Services Association. The minister said the government was serious in its efforts to promote Ayurveda, while adding that the construction of one of its super specialty centres to be established at Verka, had already commenced.
