Confederation for Ayurvedic Renaissance-Keralam Ltd (CARe-KERALAM), will invest Rs 50 crore for research in new generation Ayurvedic drugs, said its managing director Karimpuzha Raman. He was talking to media after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Coconut Development Board (CDB) for promoting projects in coconut value addition and medicine development."Three research projects, for finding drugs for skin and liver diseases and for diseases in children, are on progress in our research facility in Koratty. We have invested Rs 2 crore into these three projects, and they will complete within 12 to 36 months' time," Raman said.Source:TNN
