Positive Homoeopathy plans to open a string of clinics across South India by 2015

Positive Homoeopathy, a Hyderabad-based homoeopathic clinic chain and part of the Positive Life Sciences Group, is planning to open homoeopathic clinics in all the four southern states by 2015.
Positive Homoeopathy, with presence in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, is planning to open one clinic in Hyderabad and five in Karnataka including Bangalore, Hubli and Dharwad this year. At present the group has eleven clinics in Andhra Pradesh with seven in Hyderabad and four in Bangalore.
“Our expansion is a continuous process and we want to set up clinics across India and abroad. But first we want to open clinics in all the four southern states and now we have presence in almost every part of Andhra Pradesh. We will open homoeopathic clinics wherever there is a requirement,” Dr T Kiran Kumar, director, Positive Life Sciences Group, told "
Dr Kumar said that the group is employing three to six doctors along with paramedical staff in each of its clinics and its treatment is entirely different from other homoeopaths. It is regularly training its doctors on Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme. The group’s research wing is engaged in clinical trials and other researches and is presently doing research on male infertility. It has already completed researches in the area of diabetes, which is its area of strength. Dr Kumar stated that diabetes is incurable in allopathy but is curable in homoeopathy under certain conditions. He also said the group is importing medicines from Germany as they are of better quality.
There is lot of scope for homoeopathy to develop and expand, said Dr Kumar, adding that there is need to improve awareness about homoeopathic treatment among the public as still 80 per cent of the population are not aware of homoeopathic treatment. The group is also organising regular camps in the rural as well as urban areas in order to increase public awareness about homoeopathy.
